Dear children, today I call you to a complete union with God. Your body is on earth, but I ask you for your soul to be all the more often in God's nearness. You will achieve this through prayer, prayer with an open heart. In that way you will thank God for the immeasurable goodness which He gives to you through me and, with a sincere heart, you will receive the obligation to treat the souls whom you meet with equal goodness. Thank you, my children

Donal Foley a well known opponent of Medjugorje wrote a letter, also published in the letter column of the Universe Catholic Newspaper, stating some rather thin arguments to endorse his belief that Father Vlasic was substantially involved in Medjugorje from the very beginning.

I wrote back and the Universe published the following letter, which I think is a reasonable answer to anybody who would wish to publically attack Medjugorje.  Quite simply, Medjugorje is not a condition of faith, it does not contravene the faith, morals and teachings of the Catholic Church and we are free to either accept it or not until the time when there is a definitive directive from the Vatican.  In the meantime as we are told in the Gospel it should be judged only by the fruits and these as we both know are self-evident.

I am sure some of you already heard of this peculiar tandem, Mathaiu is the fellow with the straw hat and his companion is Alice. They are on a world wide pilgrimage for the peace in the world. They have undertaken a trip all the way from Belgium to Medjugorje on foot. I bumped in to them in Medjugroje andhad a little chat with Mathaiu (not with Alice, she was not that communicative). Dear children;
Again I call you to faith. My motherly heart desires for your heart to be open, so that it could say to your heart: believe. My children, only faith will give you strength in life's trials. It will renew your soul and open the ways of hope. I am with you. I gather you around me because I desire to help you, so that you can help your neighbors to discover faith, which is the only joy and happiness of life. Thank you.

Just a quick note to tell you all that the artists from Italy arrived  and they are fixing the statue today. I will run up the hill to check the status what what they were able to do with it. Praise GOD. M.

Just came back from the Apparition hill, took some photos of the work in progress and I must say it looks great, you can hardly see there was any damage what so ever. It is not done yet but it looks pretty good to me. Here is a photo of the how it looks at the moment. Have a great day.

Many of you sent an e-mail to me asking about Fr. Tomislav VLASIC and the articles written about him in different papers, web sites and forums around the world. The one thing I can do is write about the facts as I am trying not to interfere in to the church's internal issues and problems. The facts that are true are:

1. Fr. Tomislav Vlasic was one of the franciscan friars that operated in the parish in the beginning of the apparitions he operated as a Vicar since Sep. 1981. He was removed 1985 to Vitina, but not punished, he had all the faculties - to preach, to hear confessions - also all the priestly duties.

2. Fr. Tomislav Vlasic is not involved with Medjugroje since 1985. That means that he is not involved with the activities and the pastoral care of the parish of Medjugorje. He does have a house in Medjugorje behind the hill of Crnica and between the village of Surmanc and Bijakovici.

3. He is not a member of the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina. He moved to Italy in 1988 and joined the Italian Franciscan Province of Abbruzzo in 1992. He decided in 1987 to go his way in forming a new Community, inspired by Medjugorje...

4. The six visionaries of Medjugroje have no contact with Fr. Tomislav Vlasis what so ever since the 80's.

Dear friends,

Last night an unbelievable occurrence took place, someone desecrated the statue of Our Lady at the site of the apparitions on top of the Apparition Hill. It is yet to be determined who did this and what were the reasons behind it. But if you ask me there is nothing that can justify something like this. The local police took this incident in to their hands, we can only hope their investigation will bear fruit. And we can only pray for the sick soul that did this.
